our founder

"I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to you for your incredible support throughout the

Ride4Sight campaign and my participation in the Amashova Bike Tour. Your sponsorship was

invaluable in making this initiative a reality, and I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere

appreciation.

As a blind person, riding a tandem bike and covering a distance of thirty-eight kilometers was a

significant challenge, especially with the added difficulty of cycling in the rain. However, I was not

alone in this journey. With the help of my pilot, Marlon, and the incredible support team around me,

I was able to push through the tough moments. A special mention goes to Tiro, who rode alongside

us and continuously encouraged and motivated me, helping me to finish the race. Their support was

invaluable and made this achievement possible.

Beyond the ride itself, this experience has taught us many valuable lessons, particularly when it

comes to organizing such a large-scale event. We learned the importance of managing logistics, such

as transporting the bikes to a different province, collecting them upon arrival, and ensuring we

reached the starting point on time. These challenges taught us how to better organize ourselves for

future events and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

I want to personally thank you for believing in the vision of this campaign and for helping

us bring attention to the capabilities of blind individuals. You have made a lasting impact."

Warm regards,

Tebogo Motubatse
